| Description: | This peptide is a 14- amino acid peptide mimicking the potent thrombin receptor activator as well as an effective agonist for platelet activation. This peptide is the fragment 42-55 of the human thrombin receptor and fully reproduces the action of thrombin on MMPs in vascular endothelial cells. This peptide (TRP- 14) may signal a variety of thrombin鈥檚 responses and has been shown to cause platelet aggregation that can evoke a wide range of G- protein dependent responses. |
